Can anyone else see my photos?

No. They’re encrypted on your iPhone with a key that stays on it. There’s no Privaro account and no server holding your photos, so there’s nothing for anyone to look at, us included.

What if I forget my passcode?

When you set up Privaro you get a recovery key. Keep it somewhere safe: it lets you set a new passcode. Without the passcode or the recovery key, the vault can’t be opened, not even by us.

What happens if I lose my phone?

If you turned on encrypted iCloud backup (Pro), you can restore the vault on your new iPhone with your recovery key. Restoring is free. Without a backup, the photos stay locked on the old phone.

Is there a limit on video size?

Not per file. Any size works as long as your iPhone has room. The free version holds up to 2.5 GB in total, and Pro has no limit.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Your vault works completely offline, and your photos never go online unless you turn on iCloud backup.

Is Pro a subscription?

No. Pro is a single payment of $4.99. Nothing renews and there’s nothing to cancel.
